Faith Promise: Faith is your Victory

FAITH INHERITS THE PROMISE

Rise and go your way; your faith has made you well (Luke 17:19).

God is not so unjust as to overlook your work and the love which you showed for his sake in serving the saints, as you still do. And we desire each one of you to show the same earnestness in realizing the full assurance of hope until the end, so that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. (Hebrews 6:10-12)

Faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes by the preaching of Christ (Romans 10:17). Unless your faith is firm you shall not be firm (Isaiah 7:9)!

God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord (1 Corinthians 1:9).

This synthesis of faith was not made to accord with human opinions, but rather what was of the greatest importance was gathered from all the Scriptures, to present the one teaching of the faith in its entirety. And just as the mustard seed contains a great number of branches in a tiny grain, so too this summary of faith encompassed in a few words the whole knowledge of the true religion contained in the Old and the New Testaments. (St. Cyril of Jerusalem)

Do you live by Faith in Christ?

If you have been made a new creation by God, there is no other way to live except by your faith in Christ. Worldly influences will always be there but your oneness with the Lord will always prevail.

Paul lived by faith in the Son of God. He was the foremost of sinners and a persecutor of the church but after the Lord made him a new creation, his life had never been the same again. His oneness with the Lord gave him the openess of heart to deny himself and allow God to use him as an instrument to proclaim the good news to the ends of the earth. As Paul proclaims, "It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. (Gal.2:20)"

The world may influence you to be more focused on yourself but the more you deny the Lord's presence in your life, you will never find the true happiness and peace that you truly desire.

All the paths of the LORD are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies (Psalm 25:10).

For thy steadfast love was established for ever, thy faithfulness is firm as the heavens (Psalm 89:2).

Steadfast love and faithfulness will meet; righteousness and peace will kiss each other (Psalm 85:10).

Faithfulness will spring up from the ground, and righteousness will look down from the sky (Psalm 85:11).

Righteousness will go before him, and make his footsteps a way (Psalm 85:13).

Yea, the LORD will give what is good, and our land will yield its increase (Psalm 85:12).
