FIDELITY OF THE LORD ENDURES FOREVER

Praise the Lord, all you nations; glorify him, all you peoples!
For steadfast is his kindness for us, and the fidelity of the Lord endures forever.
Psalm 117:1-2

FIDELITY - strict observance of promises, duties, etc.: a servant's fidelity. Loyalty: fidelity to one's country. Conjugal Faithfulness. Adherence to fact or detail. Accuracy; exactness: The speech was transcribed with great fidelity.

Origin:
1375–1425; late Middle English fidelite  (< Middle French ) < Latin fidēlitās,  equivalent to fidēli-  (stem of fidēlis  loyal, equivalent to fidē ( s ) faith + -lis  adj. suffix) + -tās  -ty2

LORD, YOUR FIDELITY ENDURES FOREVER! EVEN WHEN I AM NOT FAITHFUL, YOU STILL REMAIN TO BE FAITHFUL. EVEN WHEN I DO NOT SERVE YOU, YOU STILL STRICTLY OBSERVE ALL YOUR PROMISES TO ME. YOU ARE ALWAYS ACCURATE, EXACT AND PERFECT IN ALL YOUR WAYS. MAY YOUR FIDELITY BE UPON ME SO THAT I MAY INHERIT YOUR FAITHFULNESS AND STRIVE TO LIVE IN YOUR LIKENESS AND IMAGE THROUGH YOUR SON JESUS CHRIST IN WHOM ALL GOOD THINGS COME. I GIVE YOU GLORY AND PRAISE NOW AND FOREVER. AMEN.

Prayer

Lord, I live by faith in you.

Nothing can separate me from the love you have for me.

You have given me a blessing of oneness with you, so that in everything I do and work for, you will be honored and glorified.
He is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred which redeems them from the transgressions under the first covenant (Hebrews 9:15).
